J. Brunet–  An exceptional true story of how social media can damage a life with influences from across the world. This story explains how one close-knit family was broken up when their daughter decided to secretly sneak out of the country to meet her online boyfriend in a third world country. I couldn’t put it down…each chapter made me want to read the next.  I teared up at the end, rooting for the mother. Truly powerful book.

J. Krause– Enthralling! Reads like a movie. This book needs to be in everyone’s hands. It shows atrocities that come with internet trolling  and the devastating effects it has on loved ones, especially children and their families.

T. Orrell– This is a story of a mother’s love for her child. It is a well written, emotional narrative of the heartbreak of a mother…which is like no other hurt…. when she lost her child to an internet stranger 8,000 miles away. (Tissues needed!) Her faith in God was tested, but she never lost it. I couldn’t put it down. Makes you want to get to the next chapter. (Read it in 2 days!)

G. Shoultz – Riveting….Would make a great movie! I received a great, positive spiritual message. This is a moving, true account of a very real danger in today’s society…MUST READ for any family raising young teenage girls. I want to thank the author for her courage to share her journey with all of us. I wish her success in future endeavors to share and help others in similar situations.

A. Waldron – (Read it in less than 2 days!) I’m riveted. This is mind blowing. I only thought I knew the story. Educational and emotionally gripping. This story is about a typical, wholesome, faith-filled family that will go to any extent to ensure their daughter’s safety and bring her home. Their faith in God sustained then during this arduous journey to the other side of the world.  Their love for their daughter, unwillingness to give up, and pure determination combined with unwavering faith is an inspiration. Many people that originally seemed to help began to hinder their mission. Many others were faithful and greatly appreciated . All odds were against them, but they persevered. The only love greater than a parent’s love for a child is the love of God for all humanity.

C. Henderson – This book will be a best-seller! And movie. A true and deeply moving story of the great distance a faith-driven mother will go to rescue her child. A must read for family awareness.

K. McGill – No family should have to go through this. There is so much evil in this world. The book was a great read and I couldn’t wait to get to the end. This family had a lot of endurance for all they went through for the daughter they love.

B. Smith– Moms and dads need to hear this. There’s no telling how many girls will ultimately be helped and  protected from reading this. I think it has great potential to save lives.

J. Presley – I couldn’t put it down. A heart wrenching memoir of a loving Christian family seeking to reconcile with their estranged daughter. It is a non-stop and inspiring, and powerful read.

G. Mathis – I couldn’t put it down and was able to finish it in a few days. The author is very courageous for sharing her story. God was in control the whole time, but its hard to have faith when someone you love involved. Maybe it will save  someone from going through what this family did.

J. Brunet– When I was away from the book, I was still thinking about how sad it was and all the mother went through.

M. Jennings – Stayed up until 4:00 a.m. reading. It’s an inspiring story of a great family trying to get their daughter back home safely to the U.S. and very powerful to see how they fight for her return.

A. Tippens – This is an amazing story that displayed the relentless love for their daughter and how God moved in a mighty way to give the parents an incredible strength as they pursued getting their daughter back to the states.
It moved me in so many ways.  I pray for God to be glorified and for this to help others facing a similar situation!
